How do I get a copy of a birth, death, marriage or divorce certificate?
To obtain a copy of a birth certificate, death certificate, marriage certificate or divorce certificate, you must first determine the State or area where the birth, death, marriage or divorce occurred, and contact the appropriate office that holds the record.

Passport processing services are available at the Bonney Lake Municipal Court counter at the Justice & Municipal Center, Suite 100.
Applications and other forms may be downloaded from the U.S. Department of State's Passport website; forms are also available at the Municipal Court counter.

Once the Court mails your passport applications they become the responsibility of the Federal Government. You may check the status of your passport through them online through the Department of the State.
To schedule an inspection you must call the City’s automated inspection line at (253) 447-4357. Please have the Permit number, site address, type of inspection, contact name, contact phone number, and requested date of inspection ready.
Please allow one business day and be aware that inspection requests made after 3:00 p.m. cannot be scheduled for the following day. For additional questions contact a Permit Technician.
To get inspection results contact theBuilding Inspector who performed the inspection. Because our inspectors are often out of the office, you may prefer to contact a Permit Technician, who can usually access the results.

To request court records, submit a written request directly to the Municipal Court.

If you do not have a matter with the Municipal Court and wish to request a copy of a Police Department report, submit a records request to the Police Department (view information and forms here). Turn right onto Main Street E (the first street on the right).

From SR 410 410 Eastbound or Westbound, turn at the light onto Veterans Memorial Drive E (previously Sumner-Buckley Hwy E).
Continue on Veterans Memorial Drive E several blocks, past the stop light on Main Street and past the Public Safety Building (Police & Fire).
The Post Office is on the right side, before you reach the traffic light at Locust Ave.
How do I report a street light outage or other problem?
If you see a street light that is out, constantly on during the day, or turning on and off during the night, please submit a report it via Puget Sound Energy's Intolight website - www.intolight.com - or call 1 (877) 229-1235.
If possible, include the pole number in your report. Most street light poles have a 12 digit grid number (black & yellow numbering on metal tags) or INTOLIGHT tag (INTOLIGHT logo on metal tag). Though not required, it is helpful to include this information when reporting a light outage.
STREET LIGHT EMERGENCIES To report a street light emergency, such as a pole knock down, exposed wires, etc. do not use the online form. Please call PSE at 1 (888) 225-5773.
