Welcome to the City of Bonney Lake!
The City of Bonney Lake is one of the faster growing cities in Washington State. The area was established in 1853, but not incorporated until 1949 with just 327 residents. Today, Bonney Lake is home to more than 17,700 residents, with a service population well in excess of 25,000.

General Information
The Office of Mayor is a part-time position that is currently paid $800 per month. Mayor Johnson works full-time as the Marketing and Sales Manager for Rotary Offset Press. His current term runs through December 31, 2013.
The Mayor is assisted by a full-time professional City Administrator. The Executive Department of the City includes the Office of the Mayor, the Office of the City Administrator, the Prosecuting Attorney, and Facilities and Special Events. Advanced Certified Municipal Leader, Public Safety Committee, Leadership Training Institute, National League of Cities. Small business owner with over 20 years of experience in professional retail and advertising. Strong organizational, team and communication skills continue to be the foundation of my professional life, including four years on the City Council and as Mayor since 2006. |

Washington State native and resident of Bonney Lake since 1990. Wife Mary Ann and daughters Rendi (BLHS Senior) and Jadyn (kindergarten). |

As a member of the City Council elected in 2002, Councilmember Johnson advocated the belief that government should be run more like a business and be accountable to its owners, the citizens. As Mayor since January of 2006, he has lead with vision and integrity, restoring community trust in the Mayor’s office and refining the City’s current structure to bring residents the most efficient and cost effective services possible |
