Meeting Schedule The Park Board meets on the second Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Bonney Lake
Justice Center. All meetings are open to the public. Meeting agendas, past minutes, and audio recordings are posted online; see the links at the top of the page.
Park Board Responsibilities The Park Board is comprised of seven members appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council. The Board was reorganized by Ordinance 1009 of the City Council in November 2004.
Park Board members are charged to study and recommend park policies and rules, assist in the development of the Parks Element of the Comprehensive Plan and make other recommendations to the Mayor and City Council regarding related systems such as trails. They are to make recommendations from time to time concerning the acquisition, improvement and use of parks, playgrounds and recreational equipment and facilities, including rules and regulations.
